Petroglyph Beach

Wrangell, AK

Greece has the Acropolis; we have the Petroglyphs! Rock carvings are laying on the beach waiting to be discovered and will blow you away.  Archeologists don't really know why they were carved, but it's gives you an interesting feeling to stand there and wonder about the people who worked on these stones thousands of years ago. If you are into the history of this area, it is definitely worth the visit.
